just slow it down a little bit.
dont rush through this life of yours. (it goes fast enough all on it's own.)
there is just so much that shouldn't be missed. the really important stuff.
experience the gift that comes in bringing your pace down a notch or two.
the world will survive without you running around like a mad woman
checking things off your
to-do,
to-fix,
to-organize,
to-control,
to-succeed,
to-accomplish,
and the "take care of everyone" lists that rule your days.
My point is, there are a lot of people in the world. No one ever sees everything the same way you do; it just doesn't happen. So when you find one person who gets a couple of things, especially if they're important ones... you might as well hold on to them. You know?"

I am learning now more than ever before the importance of "cherishing."
Cherishing the huge and the tiniest bits of this life. It has helped drown the chatter and static, and has definitely helped me to really slow down.
I am practicing letting go of things that previously would suck my spirit dry and trying to fill it with the guts of what really matters most.
I have so, so far to go, but this has been a beautiful gift in the midst of some really hard times.
Below are some pics of one of my most cherished moments of the summer ~ a moment in time that made my heart incredibly alive.
