because sometimes its not worth the fight.
because sometimes i get caught in the argument and in
proving my point that i forget what the whole
thing was about anyhow.
because staying angry for an extended amount
of time is just too damn tiring.

so i swallowed my pride and put down my flag.
and i can still taste that pride in my throat,
but the peace in my heart makes up for it.

my right may be your wrong.
your right may be my wrong.
and amongst it all just might a little lesson for
these stubborn old goats.
