I just watched the video and discovered for myself how much an enthusiastic delight Silvano was!

People like Silvano don't let a small thing like death stop them from singing, of that I have no doubt.

What a sweet tribute to Silvano. A simple man with love for music and love for friendship. He will be remembered by so many from around the world that have visited Barga, but especially missed by those who knew him so well in Barga.
That little town won't be the same without him.

You could not have expressed the feelings of so many that knew Silvano. There will certainly be a huge void when we visit Barga in November. He was such a kind spirited man. A friend to so many. I know all of Barga would have wished they could have been there to catch his tragic and fatal fall. As he looks down upon Barga and his many friends, he now realizes how many people truly cared about him, and miss him, his music, his presence. his friendship, and his loyalty to them.
Hugo and I send our sympathy to all whose lives were touched by Sylvano. The entire Bertagni family were very saddened to hear the tragic news of Sylvano's death. He is in our thoughts and and prayers.
